Great inexpensive waterproof 35mm camera By R. Walther I bought this camera to take some snap shots while diving and didn’t want to spend $300 or so on a digital UW camera. So I tried this one and found that it has a rugged case, is waterproof, and simple to reload with film (Snap Sights’ previous model was cumbersome to reload).
Pics come out best with 400 or 800 speed film. Just watch that you are no further then 10 ft from the object; as the flash will not carry the distance. Pics of items closer then say 5ft will be fuzzy. The user just has to remember to press the flash-on button and wait for the LED ready light to show that its ready to shoot the next pic.
For the money I spent, if its lost or breaks then there is nothing to cry over.
Happy diving.

Good bang for the buck By K. Parker I purchased this camera for our trip to the Galapagos. I wanted to get some decent underwater photos, but didn’t want to spend too much $$$. I used a disposable underwater camera in December on another trip and was very dissapointed. I figured that even if I was able to only get 2 or 3 rolls of film through the camera it would be worth the cost. The camera performed great. I ran 4 rolls of film through the camera in all. It was easy to use, and reload. The flash was a plus, and the pictures were better than the ones I got from disposable. I snorkeled with the camera about 9 times over the week for up to an hour each time. The camera did not leak once!!! I do recommend testing the casing before you leave for your trip (I placed a tissue in the housing and dunked it under water for a minute). All in all, I am happy with the purchase and would buy this product again.

Good price, cheap film By Andrew G. Fisher I purchased one of these at my local dive shop to use on a dive trip. The clear case works well and is durable. I like the large view finder attached to the top and the easy to use controls. The camera is kind of cheap, but does work. First thing anyone should do is change out the film that comes with it. It is the worst! The film is made in Europe some place. Drop in some Kodak, Fuji, Polaroid, etc…Use anything but the junk that comes with it. Throw it out immediately! Only seven of the twenty-seven pictures I took came out and some were dis-colored. This unit is good if you don’t want bring your digital camera or don’t want to incur the expense of a digital camera for underwater use. I only gave this two stars beacuse of the film. Shop around for the best price. I found mine for $14.00.
