The POOR REVIEWS are REAL! By Bob I saw the reviews but figured only unhappy people write reviews, most of the happy owners don’t bother. I was wrong, much of what I read about this camera came to be true. I purchased the Sealife Mini II camera and it did ship quickly (thank you House of Scuba). However, everything went south from there. This is suppose to be a 9MP camera. If that is the case, it must have the bottom of a coke bottle for a lens. Image quality was on par with your average phone camera. NO BETTER. Yes, I too had the same problem with the battery meter going screwy and yes, mine too died while on my vacation. The camera is less than a month old and simply stopped working. Was camera – now brick. Not sure what the issue is with Sealife, the product had so much to offer and filled a perfect niche but it fails to meet even the lowest of marks. Note to Sealife Mgt – If you want to stay in business – you are going to have to do better.

Light weight camera By chub210 The Sealife camera was a gift for my husband who dives and is constantly taking photos. He raves about it and the fact he doesn’t have to use any other water proof container as it comes ready to go.

Catastrophic leak on 2nd dive By Paul D. Clary The camera is guaranteed to depths of up to 130′. I purchased my first dive camera, a Mini 2, for a dive trip to Roatan. The camera seal failed on the 2nd dive, max depth = 60′. I thought that the batteries needed replacing, but when I opened the door, water dripped out. Batteries still had plenty of charge. Camera was dead. I’m told that SeaLife will cover the camera, but I really don’t need a dive camera now that the trip is past.
